OUR SCHOOLS UNIQUENESS
HANDS-ON STEAM PRESCHOOL LLC is the best place in Durham for young learners to explore their ideas, and be valued for their creativity. We understand that the first five years of development, children's brains are rapidly expanding and it is a crucial development period for a lot of our foundational skills. We are NOT a daycare! Our private preschool uses fun, hands-on play to build on skills and expose our students to the STEAM world around. We are located in a home setting, our classroom sizes are 8 children per class, for 3 hours per day. A educational environment in your neighborhood, perfect for your student to transition from Home to our Home School then to Kindergarten School.

ABOUT MS SHARI
Hello Everyone! My name is Ms. Shari and I have been working in early childhood education for 10 years and preschool administration for 4 years. I have a bachelors and master’s in psychology and have a passion for both teaching and learning. What I love most about early childhood education is being a part of the fundamental building blocks for language, social emotional development, and active learning. I love to see young learners excited about exploring, observing and questioning. In my classroom, children build confidence in themselves by challenging their abilities, conquering fears, and being exposed to new things.
